How helpful are Botox injections when used for muscle tightness?  

well, they say at the end of 4 weeks you will see the maximum result and we didn't see much this time around. he goes back in july for a second dose and they will increase the dosage, they will also have to inject all areas of the muscle in the hamstring and not just the inner this time. they only injected the inner and the outer seems to be overiding the relaxed inner if that makes any sense to you. sorry it's the best i could describe it. i'll let you know wether we see anything with the higher dosages this time. my son receives pt, ot, cd, and st weekly in home. he will have to have therapies next year in school if he's able to start. i'll keep you updated. wow, my baby is actually stumped and doesn't know the answer. this has got to be amazing. just kiddin with ya. actually sweetie, we aren't using the injections to tighten but to relax the muscle, he has such spasticity and the muscles don't release on their own. thanks very much sweetheart for trying though.
