Is storing big number of messages in phone decrease the speed of phone  

It might be the cause of your phone's slowdown. Try to erase some messages in your inbox, uninstall applications and move your pictures from your phone's memory to the memory card. See if the speed changes. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Yaa.. this is one kind of reason..who is responsible for your mobile getting slower.. I think you may increase your phone memory.. or you may reset your phone.. after doing that you may find your mobile phone faster.. thanking you and keep mylotting..

It's definitely one of the causes why your phone is slow. I have the same model with me right now. And im trying to remove 530 messages. My phone is slow also.

I think having too many numbers can cause your hand phones to work slower. However a good solution to this problem is by purchasing a bigger memory card. There are memory cards for 2 GB and 4 GB, they are priced according to the the size of memory. And maybe you can transfer the more seldom used number to your pen drive or something else since you are not using it frequently. Leave on the important numbers that you are dependent upon and have to refer to daily.

It depends on how many memory your phone have.

If you save messages/photos thru phone memory it will decrease the speed/initialize of the phone. But if you are using Memory card possible virus. i try to limit the messages I receive and I select what messages/photos/music will be saved..

ya it does affect the speed of the phone . as ur memory is filled and hence slows down the phone. a heavy weighin bag is difficlt to carry

am not a techie but i believe that in anything if it gets too much there is always a downside to it: we eat too much our breathing slows down and we cannot move quickly. if a pitcher gets too full it gets heavy. if our waistline gets big our elastic bands tighten causing us discomfort. i think even with the way a computer starts up is also the same if the pc has many things in it. so i guess your phone isn't different.

For me, I really think it does because since there are alot of memory stored already just to open the messages folder will take a very long time thus it gives the opportunity for the phone to hang once in awhile thus decrease in speed. I think it is just not for Nokia phones but for any phone that you store alot of messages for example or even songs it will decrease the speed to navigate thru the phone.

It depends on the memory of your phone storing things. THe more you store in phone memory, phone numbers, calandar appoitments, text and picture messages, they all slow down the phone. I let them collect for a while, but I'm constantly deleting things to save memory.
