Do you know how myLot count our point?  

You will receive a "point" for these things:

1) Your first response to a discussion started by someone else

2) Your first comment to a response other than your own response in a discussion started by someone else

3) When a discussion you start receives either 1 response and 1 comment, or 2 responses

I think if someone else gave response to our discussions then mylot count our points.. i have no more knowledge about that.. so if you get any information related to counting points then please told me.. thanking you and keep mylotting always..

Mylot looks for qulity not so much qunity when you post your discussions and responces to discussions. The exact algerithim remains unknown to us, because if it was written out in detail, members could very well try and abuse the system. This way everyone's kept honest. This is an important thing to keep in mind when posting around on my lot.

One way to be sure to earn big is to look around, get yourself out there. Offer up a valid opinion that could be used to benifit some one else that comes around to read what you wrote. Remember qulity counts the most so make sure you put some debth behind your statments because 'yeah,' no' eh, etc won't earn you anything.

Take your time, don't rush. If it takes you a while that's great. Quite often when I respond to a discussion-- even if I end up writing only one paragraph-- it can easily take me anywhere two-five minutes. Why? Its not because of my typing speed, far from it... but because I like to make sure there is actual substance in my replies and when my opinion is given I clearly express my point.

Nice topic to discuss on, I have tried to do the same few days back, it got deleted as it is violation of rules. I guess the same will happen to this discussion also, but I hope it will survive.
