My profound thought - 9-12-2001  

I do on occasion write things down. I then surprise myself when I find them. 9/12/01 That was actually the day that we buried my mother. I thought the attack was a disaster movie when I stopped by Wal Mart on my way to Oklahoma on 9/11.

oh my yes ElicBxn we heard the sounds of a large airliner the night after nine eleven and were horrified, i was petrified as i thought maybe,knowing all planes had been grounded, this was another plane from the terrorists that was going to plow into some other large building and kill more people. my son called the police and was told this was a large cargo plane bound for New York city and full of medical supplies and food for the survivors and not to worry. I went back to sleep then but will never forget that feeling of real terror because I heard a large American plane in the middle of thenight here in the US. before 9/11 I would never have thought anything of hearing a plane in the middle of the night. how naive we were before 9/11 and how we had to grow up and face the fact that everyone did not like us.

It's kind of weird, isn't it? I remember the days after 9/11 when the skies were so quiet and clear, it was bizarre.

I do have thoughts that are profound and occasionally I have a personal revelation that nearly stuns me. Like, the other day I realized that men aren't bad--I just always chose the wrong ones and most of them probably do have hearts and are capable of love. That was a big realization for me and by accepting fault, I really lightened my burden. Every so often I'll have a glimmer of real wisdom but it's not nearly often enough!

Well I am not that profound too. I remember last September when we got unexpected flashflood. After the whole day raining I think everything stood still that day and every neighbor seemed to stand still and just do their own thing to dry things up. It was really sad to see your things all soaked up and muddy and the smell of your house just stinks. You seem to give up on the situation but then you have to do something to get out from that misery.

When I was 15 years old I was sitting with a friend at a park. We were discussing about supernatural things that have happened all around the world. He didn't know many of the ones that I was mentioning, so he brought out his mobile phone and started to record me.

All of a sudden it started raining...What we both understood is that despite the rain was HEAVY not even a single rain drop had fallen upon us. Like an invisible umbrella.Of course 5 seconds after we were wet.
I still got this recording...we were shouting "oh god what's going on" and stuff like that...

When i was a small child and i saw a comet for the first time in my life
i was overjoyed and this was my profound thought to write it down in my
book..

SOunds like the day after 9/11 I dont think many planes flew that day

I've seen that every now and then right here 2 miles from RAFB and 20 miles from SA international airport. It is unusual. Thank you for reminding me to enjoy the solid blue sky when it occurs.

I do remember thinking that I had never heard the sky so quiet. Didn't write it down though...

Do U often daydream while driving?!lol
