Do you like touchscreen cellphones?  

Hi, newuserptc. I have never bought a touch screen phone. Or had one in my possession. But, I think that this type of phone is great to have when being on a cell phone. I hope that you can choose this phone if you like it.

I think I prefer touchscreen phones to the conventional ones. Take for example, the Iphone. Scrolling is made easier with just a swipe of your finger, instead of having to hit the scroll button continuously. This makes it easy to navigate websites on the phone. Also, the onscreen keyboard is so much easier to enter text than the conventional alphanumeric keypads. The touchscreen trend is already beginning to take shape in recent launches of mobile phones.

When touchscreen phone was first release, I was all in to have one. But after having one, I realized the fallback of touchscreen. Although I don't own a Nokia S60, but I would like to advice you to think twice.

What happened to my previous touchscreen phone was the touchscreen went haywire. Without keypad control, the phone can only be turned on or off.

Even before it went haywire, something that was hard to maintain was the screen. Whenever you touch the screen, fingerprint will be all over. And if you are using a earpiece, you will end up with a face print on the touchscreen. I am not sure whether the anti-fingerprint sticker prevents all of such situation as I didn't get one of those at that time. Hope this helps.

I used to hate touchscreen mobile phones before but when i got the chance to use it myself, i fell in love with it.. :) my very first touchscreen mobile phone was Sony Ericsson P800 then followed by Sony Ericsson P900.. I have stopped using touchscreen phone for almost two years and used the usual ones (with keypads).. I'm currently using Apple Iphone. I love my phone but I have been having problems with it lately.. It hangs frequently.. argh! my partner updated the software for many times but it didn't work.. :( that made me decide to ask my aunt to buy me a new mobile phone in Hongkong.. Gadgets in HK are way cheaper compared here in the Philippines.. She bought me a Nokia 5530 Xpressmusic(pink on white).. she's coming home on 15th of february and i can't wait to see her and of course the mobile phone she bought for me.. God is really good!

yup.i like them and used them for months but now using without touch screen..they are stylish and also i feel easy to use them.will buy again any new touch screen.

yes i like touch screen cellphones because it is easy to move page of cell phones easily. touch screen cellphone is easy to view other folder like image video audio player settings services etc

Touchscreens are the future, there's no doubt about it. I'm sure all of the models will pretty soon be with touchscreens and the old school keypads will disappear or be used as a secondary slide-out system.
Touchscreen technology gives you a much more direct interaction with the content of the device, and since the content will only grow in the future so will the possibilities.
So there is no doubt you'll get a touchscreen sometime soon - the only question is which one since the producers are launching new models daily. I don't think you should look at whether to get a touchscreen or not - but look at the possibilities of the device (GPS, camera, wifi, 3G, media, apps ...) based on your needs.

I must admit that I much prefer the traditional phones with buttons rather than a touch screen. After a while, the screen gets so filthy and covered in finger-prints that it looks vile. Plus, I find buttons less fiddly and easier to navigate

However, I do fear that buttons in general are on borrowed time, and soon everything will be touch sensitive

I like touch scene cell phone to see. But i don't like to use it. Sometime its very easy to use and sometime it's very difficult as i saw my brother to use touch scene cellphone. I believe it will destroy soon and normal cellphone will destroy latter then touch scene. But touch scene cell phone has great look. So i hope you will buy normal cellphone and any touch scene cell phone.
