habit of using cell phones in children

It is all because they are kids and parents want their kids to have all the best things. We are all just trying to show off and the result can be dangerous. Only the elders can restrain kids from using cell phones.

Yeah thats true... They must give them when they reach the right age... And lying can be avoided he they discipline their child well.... Happy mylotting everyone!...;-)

Cell phones have nothing to do with children being rude obnoxious beasts. It's a lack of parenting by the parents. I never had a cell phone as a child for obvious reasons (too old) but today, kids are not disciplined by their parents. Parents are too busy being their child's friend, rather than their enforcer and disciplinarian. Spank the kid, not coddle and baby them.

I personally don't see why a child needs a cell phone. I can see it as a valid reason when the child starts driving a need for one, but a 12 year old or a 9 year old? Heck no.
