I won Nanowrimo, and I found this blog article really interesting. You inspired me to start up a list of goals too. Goal number one: get paid every month on myLot. That requires a lot of work. Goal number two (also money related): make $8,000.00 in taxable income. Keep enough receipts to make sure I still don't owe taxes to the government because I don't appreciate buying bombs or other things used to murder little Middle Eastern children in a place I've never heard of. Goal number three: find a new house that lets me use public transit to get to the airport, is multiple cat friendly, on a bus route, and in a town. Goal number four: win Nanowrimo again. Goal number five: make different sorts of friends. All my friends are either hyper-political like me or other writers. There needs to be a bigger variety of people in my life. Goal number six: finish rehabbing knee so I can give my poor right leg a break and stop using it for every single transfer I make. Goal number seven: complete a submittable manuscript and submit it to five places. Goal number eight, get a date with someone I'd actually consider dating. See the problem is not that I don't have interested people. I have interested people. The problem is that all the people who are interested in me live in different countries like Indonesia and Sweden, are way too old for me (one guy who liked me was 63), and for the most part are very very male. I don't know what it is about guys and manual chairs but it seems like extra testosterone comes with the territory. I don't care how cute you are or how many layups you can make on the basketball court. I can order my own food. I don't need you to do it for me.
