this is such sad sad news.
We know/knew he was going due to his disease but it still is such a shock.

yes, I've heard of this on the news yesterday, or the day before or so.
I was quite surprised, because it's been a while since I've heard he had cancer, and I thought he was getting better... this year is really going to be remembered- Heath, then Michael Jackson, now Swayze...

I am so sorry he died. When I was teen, Patrick Swayze was my idea of the perfect man. I was too young to realize that of course he was not Johnny in reality. I always thought if I could find a man like that I would marry him in two seconds. Of course, I later learned that actual single men don't tend to do that brooding, ethical, guy thing so well. If there is anyone who actually acts like that, they're already married.

It's sad to lose such a great actor. We will miss you.

Patrick Swayze was a good actor in dirty dancing. I myself don't like dancing movies, but come on, that movie is a classic. You will be missed.

That is so sad to know I have not had much time to watch TV so I am really behind on what is going on everywhere. I do wish that his last days were great and that he rests in peace also that his family is ok after loosing someone so special.

there is no doubt that his a great actor. his lost against cancer is also the lost of the showbiz world. and it is also a sign that despite of modern technology treatment for cancer, people cannot win against it.

Is really sad, I hope he found his way home, I always remember his grat performance in "Ghost" by the side of Demi... R.I.P

It is such a shame that Patrick Swayze has passed away now. He was a brilliant actor and starred in so many great films. He shall be missed.

I can only remember being a little girl watching Dirty Dancing with my mother, thinking I want to be like that some day... A great dancer, with a hot man. I will have to say that Patrick Swayze will always be my first big screen crush. He will be missed.
