myLot Tasks

MyLot Tasks are a new way to earn money online! By completing Tasks created by myLot and select partners – you can earn money from the comfort of your own couch or desk.

Using the Tasks system is easy! First find a Task that sounds like fun! To do this, click on the tasks button located in the myLot menu.

First, you will see your dashboard. This screen contains information on which tasks you have started, finished, returned, abandoned, and which tasks are still pending. You will also see all your approved tasks and the amount of reward you have earned thus far.

Let’s start building that reward!

Selecting the available tab next to the dashboard tab will reveal all tasks that are currently available. From this screen, you can sort tasks by when they were created, the available slots left, the reward, when they expire, or how much time is allotted. You’ll see the title, description, who created the task, what category it belongs in, when it was created, and a multitude of other information, including the all important reward.

Clicking on a task will reveal additional information about that task. This is where the real fun begins! Here you will learn additional requirements for the task and have a chance to review what you will be submitting and how long you have to submit it. You won’t be able to enter information into the task boxes until you have accepted the task! Once you understand what you’re going to be working on and determine that you can meet all the task creators requirements, its time to get started. Go ahead and click on in the task window.

Once you accept a task, the accept this task button disappears and two new buttons appear: submit or return task. At this point you have several options. First, you can complete the task and submit it. We will talk about this next. Second, you can navigate away from this page and complete the task at a later time. If you do this, you can find this task later by navigating to the in progress tab of myLot tasks. Just make sure your complete the task before your allotted time expires. Lastly, you can return task. This means you will not be able to complete the task and want to make it available to other myLot users.

You will notice that once you have accepted a task you can now type in the submission boxes on your screen. When you complete the task, go ahead and click on submit and we can talk about what happens next!

Now you will see your submission in the boxes but you cannot edit it – that means your task has been submitted to the task creator. Now it’s the task creator’s job to review your submission. The task creator has several options. They can accept your submission and the process is finished. They can also reject your submission. If this is the case you will receive a message telling you why your submission was rejected. The most common reason for rejection is that you did not follow their request completely and accurately. Make sure you understand what you are being asked to do before you submit your response. Lastly the task creator can return the submission to you for revision. If this happens you will receive a message telling you what needs to be done. You will only have a certain amount of time to complete the revisions so please be prompt with your response.

Once your task submission is accepted, you will see it credited to your “Reward” column on your dashboard. Some tasks may be accepted right away and others may take some time. Its important to be patient, especially with tasks that are complicated or have a lot of text – but if you feel like your task may have been forgotten, you can always send a myLot message to the task creator about your task.

As your rewards build, you may ask – when do I Get Paid? myLot pays on a MONTHLY basis to all users who have over $10 in their account. In order to get paid, you must have a PayPal account. Sign up is easy and free and no credit card is required.
